First Day of Classes

On your first day of classes, a course outline will be distributed which includes a breakdown of what you will learn and how you will be evaluated. Readings, deadlines, midterm dates, and information about what to expect during the semester will all be included. Consider this outline a roadmap for the next 12 weeks, and keep this information hand throughout the semester.

Hillside Festival

Now in its 35th year, Hillside Festival has announced its lineup for this summer’s gathering of music, art, dance, and food at the one and only Guelph Lake Island from July 13-15, 2018. Hillside is an alternative festival for the musically and culturally adventurous. The summer festival brings together acclaimed and groundbreaking artists, across genres, to celebrate community at a midsummer musical feast.

Guelph Canada Day Celebrations

Fun family activities in Guelph’s Riverside Park starting at 11:00 am with a musical fireworks finale closing the day about 10:00 pm. Donations: $5 per person or $20 Family Pass helps support local charities and events.

Art on the Street

Taking place on Saturday June 23rd, Art on the Street will showcase an array of original work and exciting projects from nearly 100 established and emerging artists. Starting at 10am, visitors can walk this open-air art gallery in the beautiful and historic setting of Quebec Street. Ceramics, jewellery, acrylic paintings, photography, textiles and much more will be on display, accompanied by the artists who made them.

Southwestern Ontario Campus Mental Health Forum

Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health We would like to invite you to our upcoming forum in Southwestern Ontario on May 24, 2018. The forum is a one-day event that takes place between 11 and 4 pm. The goal is to bring regional post-secondary institutions and community organizations together to highlight the great work being done, seek and build collaborations and to facilitate networking. The forum is free to attend and includes lunch. We also encourage you to forward this event and invite any additional organizations that you think would like to attend.
