Join us for this all-day event for students who have received an offer of admission from the University of Guelph. Each day from May 14 through 17 is specific to a particular degree program and consists of program information sessions, career and co-operative education sessions, residence tours and more.  

DESCRIPTION The Centre for Families, Work and Well-being has developed a new series for faculty and grad students called, Strengthening Research Capacity, and is interested in hosting the first workshop before the summer season. Wellness@Work and Student Wellness have collaborated to host a week-long series of events and activities to celebrate Mental Health Week and North American Occupational Safety and Health Week (NAOSH). From May 7-11th, we are encouraging students, faculty and staff to take time out of their busy days to participate in some new training opportunities, workshops, social events and activities.   Kickoff event to be held on May 7th.

'Doing Good in Communities' is an experiential First Year Seminar course at the University of Guelph that challenges students to think beyond volunteering and charity as the means to have a positive impact in our communities. Over the course of the W18 semester, interdisciplinary teams of students address specific challenges identified by community-partners (OurEnergyGuelph, UofG Sustainability Week and Victor Davis Memorial Court Non-Profit Homes) using tools and techniques from lean business models and social enterprise startups.
