Leaves from McCrae House, 108 Water St Participants will be taken to the south side of the Speed River to explore one of Guelph's early industrial sections, formerly known as Brooklyn, and the College Hill area that developed around the Ontario Agricultural College. The tour includes some of Guelph's best examples of masonry and stone carving.

To celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial and Guelph’s 190th anniversary, Guelph Museums launches a unique lecture series to reflect on our collective history and the theme of nation building. Building Canada Lectures, presented in partnership with the University of Guelph, is set for the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at Guelph Civic Museum. Jeff Thomason presents, Horse Power: Building Canada on the backs of horses.
