Description First Nations, Métis and Inuit students - this program is just for you. Move in early and beat the rush! Get your bearings on campus and meet other Aboriginal students before Orientation Week. This program is designed to help you and your family learn more about life at Guelph, what kinds of supports are available, and the many people who are here to help you succeed.  What you'll get from this program:

Description START International is a free orientation session for new undergraduate international students, new permanent residents to Canada and out of country Canadians who are starting academics in the Fall semester. The program will introduce you to the campus environment, the resources available to aid in your social and academic transition, and what you can expect from your University of Guelph experience.

Celebrating 20 years with the Rotary of Club of Guelph-Trillium (to Aug. 27); free Thursday night concert featuring Headstones, The Beaches, Coleman Hell, and Ginger Ale and The Monowhales sponsored by Ontario150; live music all weekend, children's activities, midway, car show, food and beverage vendors and, of course, ribs! Leaves from McCrae House, 108 Water St Participants will be taken to the south side of the Speed River to explore one of Guelph's early industrial sections, formerly known as Brooklyn, and the College Hill area that developed around the Ontario Agricultural College. The tour includes some of Guelph's best examples of masonry and stone carving.
