Embodying Intersectionality: Queer women's experience of taking up and resisting idealized body images and expected body management practices. 

Dr. Carla Rice is Professor and Canada Research Chair at the University of Guelph.  A leader in the field of embodiment studies, her research focuses on representation and experiences of difference across diverse sectors and in activist arts.  She founded ReVision: The Centre for Art and Social Justice and REDLAB, a leading-edge social research centre and state-of-the-art multimedia lab that mobilizes the arts to disrupt dominant narratives and open possibilities.
