Join us for a special lecture by Justice Malcolm Rowe of the Supreme Court of Canada, as we discuss the role of courts in the Canadian constitutional order

Justice Rowe, who has served on the Supreme Court of Canada since 2016, has extensive experience in public service and the judiciary. In this lecture, Justice Rowe will discuss the constitutional and institutional role of courts within Canada’s system of government. Addressing the interaction between the courts and branches of government, offering information on judicial decision-making processes. The event is intended to provide attendees with knowledge about Canadian governance and legal principles from the viewpoint of a member of the country’s highest court.
