Winter Adventure Days will get the kids outside enjoying the outdoors. Activities may include snow shoeing, crazy carpeting, snow sculpture building, hiking, shelter building and animal tracking (depending on weather conditions). These programs feature nature-themed activities and adventures through hikes, games, seasonal crafts and activities. Participants actively go outside daily to explore the fields and forests that surround our nature centres. Our goal is to introduce your child to a lifetime of appreciation for the natural world that sustains us all. December 27, 28, 29 - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily (Free supervision provided from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. and from 4:00 pm.to 5:00 pm) January 2, 3, 4, 5 - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 (Supervision provided from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. and from 4:00 pm.to 5:00 pm) Ages: Children 6 - 12 (2005-2011)

 

FAQs What should my child bring to the program? Day camp programming takes place outside as much as possible. Please check daily weather conditions and ensure children come prepared for the weather. Along with cold-weather clothing suitable for wet conditions and/or muddy trails, your child must have: a change of warm, dry sock and mitts a pair of indoor shoes a pair of warm winter boots snowpants In wet weather, a full change of clothes is recommended. Please label all belongings. Children must bring a nutritious lunch and healthy snacks for morning and afternoon, as well as a refillable water bottle. To model environmental sustainability, please try to make it litterless. This camp is nut-free, please ensure that all food is free of nuts, nut products, and traces of nuts.

What is the refund policy? Full refunds will be provided up December 5th. Refund requests after December 5th will receive 50% of the fee.
