Trick or Eat

Meal Exchange is a national student-run charity that aims to address issues of hunger in local communities using student-drivensolutions. The Guelph chapter runs four main events each year. The Skip-a-Meal campaign runs each semester and encourages students and faculty to donate cash and meal points to support local organizations.

During Trick or Eat, over 1000 students canvass the local community on Halloween, collecting non-perishable food items. In the winter semester, Hunger Awareness Week educates students about hunger in our community and across Canada. During Clear the Shelves students can drop off spare
clothing and non-perishable food donations in bins at residence desks before the school year ends.
