Back by popular demand, U of G is organizing a trip to Ottawa to provide undergrad and grad students a unique opportunity to visit Health Canada! An information session will be held on Tuesday, October 16th from 6:30pm-7:30pm in Rozanski 102.
During this trip, you’ll be able to:

Hear from guest speakers, who are also U of G alumni, about working at Health Canada and other federal agencies (including Public Health Agency of Canada, CFIA, National Research Council, Environment and Climate Change Canada and others)

Attend a career fair to learn about student recruitment and how to apply for government jobs, including post-doc fellowship programs

Mingle with Health Canada employees, U of G alumni and fellow students at an evening networking event

Deadline to register is Friday, October 19th

Complimentary transportation to and from Ottawa will be provided; each student is responsible for arranging for their own accommodations/food throughout the trip. Hotel blocks have been reserved for students at the Alt Hotel in Ottawa under the “University of Guelph”

To confirm your spot, drop off your completed registration form with your $20 fee to the CBS Student Council Office (SCIE 1502). There are limited spots reserved for CBS undergrad and grad students, so register early to avoid disappointment.
