Join us for the launch of Re•Vision: The Centre for Art and Social Justice. The Re•Vision Centre for Art and Social Justice is a newly established social science and arts-informed research centre at the University of Guelph in the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences. Re•Vision has a mandate to use arts-informed and community engaged research methods to foster inclusive communities, well-being, equity and justice. We investigate the power of the arts, and especially story, to positively influence decision-makers, to build intersectional alliances and to imagine more just futures.

The evening will include light refreshments, a cash bar and riveting talks from Indigenous education leader and scholar Dr. Susan Dion, cutting-edge disability artist and academic Dr. Eliza Chandler, and artistic performance by the brilliant Indigenous and disability-identified artist Vanessa Dion Fletcher.
