Details

Jessie Thomson holds an honours BA degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science degree in International Development Studies from the London School of Economics.

Jessie spent five years as CARE Canada’s senior director of the Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Team and now leads the organization’s Partnerships for Global Change unit.

Prior to joining CARE, she spent 2009-2010 in Pakistan as the protection delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross and five years in the federal public service working on refugee and humanitarian policy.
