Promotion for 2018 Accessibility Conference

Reach the goal of an accessible Ontario at the 10th Annual Accessibility Conference “Designing for Diverse Abilities”.

For people who work in information accessibility or universal design, diverse abilities raises the question of how to create accessible content, spaces, and devices for users who vary widely with respect to mobility and dexterity, as well as the ability to perceive and process information.

The 10th Annual Accessibility Conference offers presentations from speakers who are actively engaged in studying, planning for, or promoting diverse abilities and universal access, as well as sessions on the following topics:

  • AODA standards
  • Web, document, and media accessibility
  • Adaptive technology
  • Disability research and accommodation
  • Inclusive design
  • Accessible teaching and learning
  • National and international accessibility issues

The Accessibility Conference at the University of Guelph welcomes persons with disabilities, and accessibility novices and experts, both as presenters and attendees, encouraging participants to build communities and exchange ideas.
