Fostering Mutually Supportive, Curious, and Fun Conversations around Disability and Sexuality in Attendant Care Relationships
Join our virtual Town Hall to discuss accessing sexuality supports in attendant care dynamics through a disability lens. Inspired by Cory Silverberg and Fran Odette's 2011 project, we aim to bridge the gap in starting conversations. Led by Wallace and Melanie from t6talk, Brantford, and collaborating with SHORE Centre and the Community Engaged Scholorship Institute of University of Guelph, we promote dialogue on sexuality and disability needs. Our mission is clear, create safer conditions for service users and providers by initiating conversations and advocating for better education.
Join us to hear speakers and key research findings, kickstarting essential discussions!
Guest Speakers
In 2011, Cory Silverberg and Fran Odette's groundbreaking Sexuality and Access Project revealed that “everyone wants to talk, but no one knows how to start the conversation.” Now, let's seize this chance to cultivate a safe environment, engage in difficult discussions, nurture understanding, and advocate for change.
