Ron Dalton, exoneree
A Canadian exoneree, Dalton was convicted in 1989 for the murder of his wife, Brenda Dalton. He was found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole for a minimum of ten years. In 2000, Dalton was acquitted and he was able to clear his name. Today, Ron Dalton is the co-president of Innocence Canada and advocates on behalf of other wrongfully convicted Canadians and their families.
