College Heat Three Minute Thesis 3MT®

3MT® is a university wide competition for graduate students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. The challenge is to present complex research in an engaging, accessible and compelling way, using only one slide!

Registration for the 2018 3MT College Heats is now open! See below for a step-by-step instruction on how to register:

  1. Complete the 3MT Registration and Participation Waiver form
  2. Email the completed form to Caitlyn Bilodeau (
  3. Begin planning your 3MT presentation!

Register by February 15th to enter the College Heat 3MT® Competition

The College Heat Competition will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m - Location: MacDonald Institute (MINS) 129.
